Privacy and enquiry handling

How Hunting.ie handles trip requests and provider claims. Updated 1 October 2026.

Your submission

Hunting.ie uses your contact details and the trip or provider information you submit to review your request, reply to you, check provider interest and maintain a record of the conversation. Provider claims are checked through an existing public business contact before any listing is changed.

Sharing with providers

A request goes to Hunting.ie first. No request is automatically forwarded to a provider. We will share your enquiry with the named provider only with your permission and after that provider has agreed to receive it. Submitting a request does not confirm dates or a booking.

Storage and access

Submissions are stored in Hunting.ie's enquiry records and backup files. Notifications may also be held in the account used to handle Hunting.ie enquiries. Access is for the people handling those requests and the hosting and email services used to operate the site. Enquiry records are subject to review; backup files and email copies may remain separately until reviewed. This page does not promise automatic deletion after a fixed period.

Keep your submission limited

Please do not send firearm serial numbers, certificate copies, financial details or unrelated sensitive personal information. We ask for the details needed to discuss the trip or your public provider listing.

Analytics and external websites

Hunting.ie uses Matomo and Google Analytics to understand visits and site interactions. Provider interaction events use the public profile identifier, without your form name, email or message. Visiting an operator's own website is subject to that operator's privacy practices.

Questions, corrections or removal requests

Contact the Hunting.ie team at hello@hunting.ie about your information, a correction, sharing permission or a removal request. Include enough detail to identify your submission, without sending additional sensitive documents. We may need to check that a request concerns your own information.
